Welcome to the official website of the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), of the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro).
The OIG is an independent and objective organization reporting to the Metro Board of Directors. Our task is to detect and deter instances of inefficiency, unsafe conditions, illegal activity, and fraud, waste and abuse of Metro resources. The OIG keeps the Metro Board and the Chief Executive Officer fully informed about issues affecting Metro programs and the opportunities for improvement. The Office of the Inspector General works to preserve and protect the integrity of Metro programs and operations.
